Do you own land that you rent to farmers? Are you a farmer who rents land for your farm business? A one-night virtual meeting for rural farmland owners that are lessors and farmers who are lessees to gain more information about forming farm rental rates. With better understanding of how to establish farm rental rates, both parties will be satisfied and lessen the risk of misunderstanding.
Dayton Maxwell, Nicole Tommell and Steve Hadcock will be sharing information from a farm rental rate survey that has been conducted in the six counties the CAAHP team cover. The presenters will also share various ways for lessors to determine a farm rental rate for the property they wish to rent.
