Cow Calf Production and the Freezer Trade

Cow Calf Production and the Freezer Trade will be held on September 12, 2019 at Tilldale Farms (22 Tilley Lane, Hoosick Falls, NY 12090) from 6:00-8:00pm.  The Tilley family has transitioned from a dairy to multi-species livestock farm, selling meat directly to consumers at farmer’s markets and retail shops.  The farm focuses on grass-fed Red Devon Cattle, as well as poultry and pork production.   We will also be joined by Steve Hadcock, Beginning Farmer and Market Development Educator and staff from New York State Agriculture and Markets to discuss the New York State Cattle Health Assurance Program.    To take advantage of the early registration price of $10, please register by September 10, 2019.
